9 More To Go

Mornings are still much better than before I started this oxygen treatment stuff. Kinda discouraged that there is still a lot of pain but it's not over yet. And the hyperbaric people say that the affects of the treatment last long after the last treatment.

So, I'm slightly discouraged but I have not given up!!

#23 Saturday Was # 22

Got up this morning and my foot felt fine except for the numbness which may never be gone. Pain level was as close to a 0 as it can get without being a 0, hope that makes since. I even went to just 1 50mg Tramadol for my morning dose of med's.

I keep thanking God for a healed foot!! There is a bible verse somewhere that say's to speak into existence that that is yet to come. I tried to use the Blue Letter Bible to find the verse but failed.

If ya know the verse then leave it in the "post a comment" thing under a post in small letters....

# 23

I did my 23rd treatment on Saturday. My foot felt rotten when I went in to Charlotte Metro Hyperbaric's. I had my normal medication at 11:00. Actually that's not true, I only took two 50mg Tramadol's instead of the Tramadol's and a 200mg Lyrica. My appointment was for 12:45. My foot felt much better when I came out of the treatment but who knows why? Maybe it was the pill's, the chamber or God's creation, my body sucking up all that oxygen that made me feel better. All I know is I need permanent pain releif...

I know in the end I'll give God the glory since He made me......

Sunday we go to Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius, NC. It's a Four Square Church. Not sure what that means yet. I do know that this church really has it together! I can't get through the worship time without choking up to tears and every time I've attended my RSD pain was at a minimum, a 1 to 2 on a scale of 1 to 10 or even a zero! When I started this treatment my pain was at a 10 or 11 nearly every day!! Forget about trying to stand and sing, it hurt way too much! Praise God!!

Treatment # 22 Today

When I woke up the morning of the 20th treatment my foot felt great! Only numbness, which I've had since a car wreck in 1977. My foot felt so good that I decided to not take my morning Lyrica pill. I usually take one 200mg three times a day. Now I just take one at lunch and in the evening.

Yesterday when I woke up the pain was worse than the day before but tolerable. Maybe I was suffering from the lack of the third Lyrica pill because overall I did not feel too well.

Today I feel about as well, foot hurt pretty bad but not horrendous. However, when I got up at 4:30 this morning to use the bathroom my foot felt normal, just numb no pain. I guess I stayed in bed too long.

Now I'm off to the library to find a good book to get me trhough the treatment.......

Number 17

Still not much to say. Slight pain lessening, almost can't tell.

Nothing is suppose to really take place until after the 25th treatment.

I'm waiting!

Treatment #12

I was in church on the 22nd and noticed that it was not so hard to stand. Hmm that's a good sign. Monday I noticed that when I got out of bed that my leg and foot was just numb not on fire like usual. Man! This is starting to look promising!

Got out of bed this morning the the 25th and almost forgot my medication!! I also cut my intake of Tramadol from six 50mg's a day to 5. I did that on the 21st.

So I'm at treatment #15.

Please remember that the morning was usually the worst for my pain. Horrible burning waking me up in the morning and getting up out of bed did not help much. I would stumble to my lounge chair and take my med's and wait 2 hours for them to do their job.

Big difference now. Let's pray it continues until it is permantely gone!!

Here They Are....

Here I am at Charlotte Metro Hyperbaric's in Hunersville, NC
That's my daughter Megan

Treatment #8

Nothing new to post except this treatment seemed a whole lot longer than it was. I'm begining to feel trapped while in the chamber and of course I am! If something weiered happened while in there it would take 15 minutes to get me out.

Treatment 5

No change yet.....except for my toes. Its strange when you think back and try to remember what your foot felt like a few weeks ago. I know that I could not feel my toes and therefore had a hard time standing in the shower and even fell out a few times. Now, however, I can feel my toes on my foot with the RSD.

Seems to be heading in the right direction......

I finished the second treatment at 8:19 this morning. I have not noticed anything yet.......

Will keep you posted.

The Money Is In!!

My church and a few of my friends has given me the opportunity to be treated Charlotte Metro Hyperbaric's(CMH). Thank you Lord!!

CMH even found me a place to stay at a GREAT price. I was planing on living in my truck and they said that they would try to keep me from doing that, and they did.

I start March 23rd.

February 25

I just heard from my pastor. He said $750 just came in!! That makes $2750 of the $4000 I need. I hope I suffered all these years just to experience God's move among my friends and the removal of a lot of my pride. It would be worth it.

I am making plans to contact a doctor in Charlotte, NC who WILL write a prescription for hyperbaric medicine if my physical checks out. First I'll wait one more day to hear from the doctors I checked with here in the Highlands/Cashiers area.

$1250 to go!!
